I was absolutely ASTONISHED last weekend to discover that Mr R Kirkham and a whole bunch of my PALS IN ROCK had recorded a tribute album to ME. It includes the likes of Gavin Osborn, Chris T-T, The Mini-Skips, Keith Top Of The Pops ... and, well, pretty much EVERYONE who I tend to play gigs with, not least The Validators, who do a Hibbett-free version of "The Peterborough All Saints Wide Game Team (group B)"!

It's called "It Only Works Because You're Hibbett" and it is ACE. There's about 90 CDs for sale or you can download it (with all download proceeds going to Hillside Animal Sanctuary) right HERE:

There's also a COMPETITION to win a SYNTH by doing a new video for Fakebit Polytechnic's EXCELLENT version of "Hey Hey 16K" - the details are HERE:

Meanwhile there's another album of cover versions available, this time with ME doing other people's songs. It's called "Like A Braunstone Cowboy" and it's free to all you lovely newsletter subscribers to say thanks for helping us get to a HUNDRED issues. It'll be online until the NEXT newsletter comes out, so if you'd like a listen get in NOW.

Steve and I are gearing up for "Total Hero Team" in Edinburgh with shows in London, Buxton and Manchester, and you can see us performing a few songs from the show at Phoenix FM, here:

Last month I did a "de-mix" of Pretty Girls Make Graves by To The Boats, and they've just put it online, HERE:

And finally, the new single from me and The Validators, "I Want To Find Out How It Ends" is geared up for release around the end of August. Filming starts on the video next weekend!

And I think that's enough excitement for now - thanks for listening, and see you next time!
