< issue 113 issue 115 >
(MJ Hibbett & The Validators FACT, August 29th 2014)

Hello all, and welcome to this FORWARD LOOKING edition of the newsletter - we've got podcasts, shows and albums to talk about this time, so let's get to it!

GIGS TO COME
Thursday 11 September - The King & Queen, London
Totally Acoustic with David Leach and Daniel & Norbert Dentrassangle.

Check http://www.mjhibbett.co.uk/gigs/gigs.php for more information.

TOTALLY ACOUSTIC
As you can see above, Totally Acoustic is very much BACK, with a string of ACE people booked to play between now and Christmas. We had a GRATE first show this month too, with Matt Abbott, Alexander Hale and Robberie, which you can hear on the podcast right HERE:

HEY HEY 16K
The first draft of the new Fringe show, "Hey Hey 16K" is now DONE! Demo versions have been recorded and last night Steve and I had a meeting to discuss practicing, possibly new props and… tap dancing? We’re hoping to have the first previews around the turn of the year, stay tuned for further details!

VALIDATORS ALBUM
Even more demos have been recording for possible future Vlads songs – we’re practicing next week ready for our recording in November, where we may even be doing another Christmas song!
AND FINALLY
I've got into the semi-finals of the Nickelodeon Writers' Programme - I'm down to the last five, with the final winner getting to work for Nickelodeon for six months, including six weeks in California. It’s all very exciting – this time next month I should know whether I got through or not, so please keep any and all fingers crossed for me!
And I think that's about it for this month - thanks for listening!

Cheers,

Mark
