< issue 131 issue 133 >
(MJ Hibbett & The Validators FACT, February 29th 2016)

Hello all, and welcome to this LEAP YEAR edition of the newsletter. We've got albums, DVDs and plays to talk about this time, so let's get to it!

Thursday 3 March - The King & Queen, London
Totally Acoustic with Molly Naylor, Martin Austwick and Royston Vince.

Thursday 7 April - The King & Queen, London
Totally Acoustic with Ruth from Po!, Michael from Lazarus Clamp and The British IBM.

Check for more information.

We had a BEAUTIFUL show this month with Frankie Machine, Captain Lovelace and Daniel & Norbert Dentressangle, which you can hear for yourself HERE:

We're back at The King & Queen on Thursday 3 March with sets from Molly Naylor, Martin Austwick and Royston Vince. Do come if you can, it's going to be GRATE!

There's been a LOT of progress lately on the new Validators album 'Still Valid'. We've got the final MASTERING session booked for next month and then - even more importantly - we've got our traditional BAND CURRY in April, during which PLANS should be agreed for the release date. The album COVER is nearly done, GIGS are being arranged, and I've just started trying to build up a list of press people to SEND it to. Things are very much happening!

The DVD of my (and Steve's) stage show 'Hey Hey 16K' is nearly finished and should be ready to go off to be manufactured soon. It'll have the full show plus several EXTRAS and looks ACE - more news on this next month, including (hopefully) a LAUNCH gig!

My play 'Captain Wonderful' is going to be performed at The Place theatre in Bedford on Saturday 12 March. I'll be there, with my mum, and tickets are available HERE if you fancy joining us:

And I think that's more than enough for this month - thanks for listening, and see you next time!
