Multimedia Extras: RER Extras

During the early stages of recording Regardez, Ecoutez et Repetez I got rather frustrated about my inability to record decent demo versions of the songs I was writing. My tape four track was broken, I didn’t have a cassette player to even do live recordings onto, and I couldn’t get my cranky old computer to accept a microphone.

It was therefore a MASSIVE relief when I realised that there was a lovely place called Studio Sonic on Denmark Street in London, just ten minutes from my work, where I could pop in during my lunch hour and record four or five songs at a time. Over the course of a year I recorded about twenty songs, some of which have already been released in one form or another (our version of ‘Vicar In A Tutu’, for instance), the rest of which were placed on the multimedia section of Regardez, Ecoutez et Repetez, along with a couple of others which seemed vaguely relevant.
